comprises 6 mills that produce paving stones, curbs, retaining
walls, slabs and other cement material for masonry and landscape
design. Permacon employs 425 employees. Challenge Increase
the flexibility of employees and ensure product quality when there
are changes in personnel. Solution HUMENG
International Inc. developed a skill profile for each key job.
Each skill was then documented with an operating procedure. The
procedure was written with the help of the most competent employee
on the skill. Gains Productivity
gains and an increase in employee satisfaction were measured.
These were made possible by controlling the skills of employees
and decreasing training time. "The
